Lekker man;).

ans Zayed Yes. Thank you. There are actually 2 webcast questions from Ruth Battenhash [ph]. The first one is, thanks for the presentation. When can we expect a further update about the IPO of Fertiglobe? And is it essential that ADNOC first complete their IPO of their drilling business before the Fertiglobe IPO? That will be done. That's the first one. Hassan Badrawi Yes, I can take the first one, Hans, before -- but I guess, as I mentioned earlier in the call, we will -- as soon as the material information to communicate on the IPO, we will share it. The one note that I will show the audience that, obviously, market -- this particular market and many markets in the region are similar. We can only manage a certain amount of transaction at a time. So there needs to be some degree of sequencing there, but that's all I will share. But as soon as we have something material in terms of timing and the appropriate window subject to market conditions, we will communicate that actively with the market. Hans Zayed And the second question is, is it expected that the third quarter will be even better than the second quarter? Second quarter was already much better than the first. Ahmed El-Hoshy Yes. I mean the guidance we're coming out with analysis with regards to the year-end that we were completely deleveraging in terms of the market to target being 2x leverage. And we think that, like I said, pricing is significantly better in Q3 versus Q2 and Q1, and we expect with our order book that are in place today as well as the trajectory over the balance of the year to be in a good position on the second half of the year as well. Hans Zayed There's no further webcast questions. I think I'll hand back to Ahmed to close. Ahmed El-Hoshy Okay. Thanks. Thanks, Hans. Thank you all for joining us today. Stay safe. I'm looking forward to our Q3 results discussion. Operator Ladies and gentlemen, the conference has now concluded, and you may disconnect your telephone. Thank you for joining, and have a pleasant day. Goodbye.

www.bloomberg.com/news/newsletters/20... Supply Lines Fertilizer Rally Is Coming for the Grain That Feeds Half the World By Randy Thanthong-Knight and Jasmine Ng 22 oktober 2021 13:00 CEST SHARE THIS ARTICLE Share Tweet Post Email Rice, the staple food for half of humanity, is set to become more expensive because of a blistering rally in fertilizer prices. Prices of the grain have been relatively stable in the past year unlike other agricultural commodities from corn to soy and meat, helping to limit more widespread food inflation. Still, the latest surge in fertilizers will raise costs for many farmers in Asia and risks pushing up rice prices in a region where the vast majority of the world’s supply is produced and consumed. “A ton of fertilizer is now more expensive than a ton of rice,” said Pramote Charoensilp, president of the Thai Agriculturist Association, which represents rice farmers in the world’s third-biggest shipper. Global fertilizers costs have rocketed to records on a perfect storm of events — from extreme weather and plant shutdowns to government sanctions. The energy crises in Europe and China are exacerbating the impact as coal and natural gas are important feedstocks. The cost increase comes at a worrying time, with international food prices at a decade high. China is also stepping up scrutiny on its fertilizer industry, including imposing new hurdles for exporters in a bid to protect domestic supplies. The country is a key supplier of urea, sulphate and phosphate, accounting for about 30% of global trade. The biggest buyers of China’s fertilizers include many other rice-producing nations like India, Pakistan and Southeast Asian nations. In the Philippines, Wilfredo Roldan, administrator of the Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority, expects local rice and corn prices to rise as fertilizer accounts for as much as 70% of the production cost. Vietnam’s plant production department is encouraging rice farmers to cut fertilizer use by as much as half. —Randy Thanthong-Knight in Bangkok and Jasmine Ng in Singapore Charted Territory Cook Up a Storm Edible oils have rallied this year due to a global supply crunch Source: Data compiled by Bloomberg *Figures refer to year-to-date gains The risks of food inflation are growing, and this time around, the culprit is edible oil. Palm oil, the world’s most consumed vegetable oil, has soared more than 30% this year, while soybean oil is up almost 50%. Prices of canola, also used to make oil, are near a record. That’s because of the emergence of pent-up demand as economies reopen after Covid-19, the outlook for more use in renewable fuels as energy prices soar and production problems in major growers. Today’s Must Reads Hoarding food | In Denver, public-school children are facing shortages of milk. In Chicago, a local market is running short of canned goods and boxed items. But there’s plenty of food. There just isn’t always enough processing and transportation capacity to meet rising demand as the economy revs up. Fake eggs | Alternative food producer Eat Just moved a step closer to expanding sales of its eggs made from mung beans into Europe, a key market for plant-based produce. Sugar rush | The world is coming back to sweets and desserts as more lockdowns ease, especially in emerging nations, and it’s causing a spike in prices for short-term refined sugar supplies. Prime wine | When it comes to drinking Australian wine, Britons are starting to opt for higher priced options. That’s important, as sales to China plunge in the wake of Beijing’s trade reprisals. Bad onions | People across the U.S. have been advised to throw away all unlabeled red, white and yellow onions after a mass salmonella outbreak sickened hundreds of people across 37 states. On the Bloomberg Terminal More pain | Farmers are in for more ammonia price pain this fall, Bloomberg Intelligence says. Nitrogen prices keep climbing as Europe's ammonia plants stay offline due to soaring natural gas costs. India needs to call another urea tender as China limits exports. U.S. farmers will see more anhydrous price pressure after harvest as retailers pass on higher replacement costs. Billion tortillas | American producers of genetically modified corn can breathe a sigh of relief — they haven’t lost the Mexican market in spite of the country’s ban, Bloomberg Government reports.
