Nano One Materials explains One-Pot Process and significance of LCA report Nano One Materials Corp (TSX:NANO, OTC:NNOMF) has received promising results for its proprietary One-Pot Process from an independent life cycle assessment (LCA) conducted by Minviro, a group based out of London that is globally recognized for undertaking these studies. In an interview with Proactive, Nano One's chief operating officer Alex Holmes highlighted the groundbreaking implications of this assessment. Holmes explained that the One-Pot Process is a patented technology developed in-house that revolutionizes cathode active material manufacturing. The process promises heightened efficiency and reduced capital and operating costs compared to traditional methods, marking a significant leap in the battery supply chain. The crux of the Minviro report focused on the environmental impact, particularly greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and water use, compared between Nano One's method and conventional processes. Notably, the study delved into different cathode chemistry types, highlighting the GHG benefits of Nano One's process over traditional methods like NMC and LFP lithium-ion phosphate. What sets this assessment apart is its evaluation across diverse jurisdictions, Holmes said. By analyzing manufacturing scenarios in various regions, including China and North America, Nano One aims to offer collaborators and investors insights into potential GHG emission improvements based on energy grid mix and power sources. "There's a lot of rigor and independent analysis, and effective expert committees that opine as to the robustness of these studies before we can talk about them publicly," Holmes told Proactive. "The importance of doing this study for us was to take things that we've talked about publicly as we see as benefits of our process, and now formalizing it in a way that we have something we can share with our collaborators." Holmes emphasized that the report not only validates the economic superiority of Nano One's process but also underscores its environmental superiority. This duality — economic benefits coupled with environmental friendliness — is a rarity in innovation, positioning Nano One as a leader in sustainable technology. Looking ahead to 2024, Holmes said Nano One remains focused on scaling its Candiac plant operations, aiming to provide samples and validate technology with potential customers. The ultimate goal is securing customer offtake while advancing plans for the first commercial plant. Holmes reiterated that the recent assessment enhances Nano One's value proposition and augments its appeal within the supply chain, fostering partnerships and bolstering its technology's marketability. www.proactiveinvestors.com/companies/... nanoone.ca/news/news-releases/automot... December 19, 2023 Vancouver, Canada (TSX: NANO) (OTC: NNOMF) (Frankfurt: LBMB) Highlights: Successful evaluation of Nano One LFP builds on Automotive OEM collaborations and accelerates piloting and testing to tonne-scale. Evaluators include industrial, energy storage solutions (ESS), US Department of Defense applications and Automotive OEMs. Large scale commercial equipment samples derisk capacity to scale and grow with partners. Aligns with Canadian and US Governments underlying Inflation Reduction Act objectives. Nano One® Materials Corp. (“Nano One” or the “Company”) is a clean technology company with patented processes for the production of lithium-ion battery cathode materials that enable secure and resilient supply chains by driving down cost, complexity, energy intensity, and environmental footprint. The Company is pleased to report that it has confirmed orders for approximately 1.3 tonnes of LFP samples from key collaborators for commercial evaluation purposes, of which approximately 30% has been shipped. The LFP was made using Nano One’s recently commissioned One-Pot LFP pilot facilities in Candiac, Québec demonstrating and de-risking production in commercial scale equipment. “These large volume samples of LFP cathode materials,” explained Nano One Chief Commercialization Officer Denis Geoffroy, “were made at our pilot facilities in Québec using commercial scale equipment that was recently recommissioned for the One-Pot process. The samples are being provided to a global automotive manufacturer and other key collaborators, after having tested and validated smaller samples of Nano One’s LFP cathode materials. This supports a joint vision to promote and execute locally sourced, waste-free, high performing cathodes in world class cells. It also aligns us with Canadian and US government initiatives and the underlying objectives of the Inflation Reduction Act.” Additional key collaborators in automotive, ESS, defense, and industrial sectors are also testing and validating Nano One’s LFP pilot materials for the purposes of securing offtake agreements to meet their business objectives. Nano One is addressing a diverse market for LFP and creating multiple client relationships to satisfy growth plans and the sector’s needs. Target markets include North America, Europe and the Indo-Pacific region, representing an addressable LFP market opportunity totalling US$48 billion by 2035.[1] Nano One CEO Mr. Dan Blondal underlined, “Our team in 2023 has significantly de-risked our capacity to scale and grow with our collaborators and future customers and accelerated the timeline to tonne-scale sample evaluations. These milestones showcase Nano One’s ability to execute on its plans and help to increase shareholder value and supply chain confidence in Nano One’s technology and growth strategy. I’d like to thank all of our stakeholders for their support on our journey and we look forward to providing further updates in 2024.” Ja, fijn, en toen? :)

Video interview weer met DanNano One Materials Corp CEO Dan Blondal joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share significant updates regarding the company's progress in the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) market. Nano One has confirmed orders for approximately 1.3 tonnes of LFP samples, which are being supplied to key collaborators for commercial evaluation purposes. Approximately 30% of these samples have already been shipped. These LFP samples were produced using Nano One's One-Pot LFP pilot facilities, which are located in Candiac, Québec. The successful production of LFP at a pilot scale demonstrates the company's ability to scale up its manufacturing processes efficiently and effectively, reducing risks associated with commercial production. Blondal also highlighted that Nano One has garnered interest from additional collaborators in various sectors, including automotive, energy storage systems (ESS), defense, and industrial applications. These collaborators are currently testing and validating Nano One's LFP pilot materials as part of the process to secure offtake agreements. The company is strategically addressing a diverse LFP market and establishing multiple client relationships to meet its growth objectives and cater to the evolving needs of different sectors. Nano One's target markets span North America, Europe, and the Indo-Pacific region, collectively representing a substantial addressable LFP market opportunity estimated to reach $48 billion by 2035. These developments underscore Nano One's position as a significant player in the rapidly growing LFP market and its commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable lithium-ion battery materials to meet the increasing global demand. youtu.be/03aOc2KDlbc?si=8SzXBJSCDom1SeP6

Van hetzelfde. Ik heb dan toch maar een nieuwe draadje voor 2024 gemaakt. Ik verwachtte dat iemand anders dit zou doen. ;) Zie link: www.iex.nl/Forum/Topic/1399589/Canade...
