    For the entire group, we wish to discuss the continuity of the company below:



    Although at the end of June the current ratio of the group remains below 1 and the cash position is limited, the new financing agreement concluded with Belfius in September, secured for 60% by Gigarant; will enable the group to improve its liquidity position by, on the one hand, the rescheduling of the short-term financial debt with € 1.25m to long-term, and on the other hand an additional credit line of € 1.5m which will be used to repay a number of overdue debts of Crescent NV. In addition, Van Zele Holding NV agreed to the request from Belfius and Gigarant to make an additional credit line of € 0.5 million available as an additional buffer in case certain assumptions in the liquidity plan of the group could not be realized. The realization of the various three-year plans should furthermore allow the expected liquidity shortfalls in some companies to be compensated with cash surpluses in others. In addition to the focus on positive EBITDAs, the net cash generation will also remain a short-term target.

    With the introduction of a number of new products in the first half of next year, management expects that the cash losses of Crescent NV can also be stopped, so that this company will gradually start contributing to positive cash flows.

    Nederland en België werken samen aan slimmere productie

    De maakindustrie is een sterke motor van de economie in Nederland en Vlaanderen. Om de concurrentiepositie te verstevigen bundelen Flanders Make, het onderzoekscentrum voor de maakindustrie, en SMITZH, het Zuid-Hollandse smart manufacturing programma hun krachten. Samen bouwen ze een kennis- en innovatienetwerk op. Ze ondertekenden een intentieverklaring op de Hannover Messe, de grootste vakbeurs ter wereld voor industriële technologie.
    Nederland en België werken samen aan slimmere productie

    SMITZH (Smart Manufacturing: Industriële Toepassingen in Zuid-Holland) en Flanders Make hebben ieder een uitgebreid netwerk met bedrijven die voor vergelijkbare technologische uitdagingen staan. Die brengen ze samen, om “best practices” over slimme producten en productie uit te wisselen en om samen onderzoeks- en innovatieprojecten op te zetten. Die projecten zullen nauw aansluiten bij de acht fieldlabs rond robotica en big data.
    Digitaal productiesysteem

    Flanders Make lanceerde recent ook het Smart Factory Benelux initiatief, waarin bedrijven actief in België, Nederland en Luxemburg samen een digitaal productiesysteem bouwen. Dit dient om nieuwe toptechnologieën te demonstreren en met elkaar te laten samenwerken in reële werkomstandigheden. Door hun technologie te integreren kunnen maakbedrijven ook leren om een eigen flexibel productiesysteem te maken dat zich eenvoudig aanpast aan nieuwe productvarianten. De samenwerking met SMITZH is meteen ook een ideale gelegenheid om meer Nederlandse bedrijven te enthousiasmeren voor het Smart Factory Benelux initiatief.

    Samen met Vlaamse partner Flanders Make en een twintigtal internationale experten rond Robotica onder leiding van het Finse TUT/TAU, zal 3IF.be zich in de komende jaren verder specialiseren in Cybersecurity voor robotics. Op basis van het werk binnen 3IF.be Vlaanderen als Digital Innovation Hub en het securitywerk (Security Framework) binnen Connected Factories, passen we de expertise toe op de robots.

    3IF.be introduceert zes nieuwe installaties van de Condition Based Maintenance proeftuing
    (update 15.12.2018)

    Samen met partners Versasense, Cloudgate, EyeWatch en AllThingsTalk realiseerde 3IF.be nog zes bijkomende fieldlabs bij productiebedrijven als demonstrators voor het opschakelen van de digitalisering. Andere partners zijn Yazzoom, Factry, FactoryThings en Intrinsic-ID. Use cases bestaan uit het beheren van CNC productiemachines, analyseren van stromen, het beheren van een drive train, bijhouden van traag roterende drums en inspectie op de productielijn. Samen met haar technologiepartners en een heleboel ervaring rond Maintenance gaan onze field engineers de productievloeren ondersteunen met hun digitale transformatie proof of concepts.
