Mooie dag voor gekozen Iemand iets over: Players in talks on FPSO for Penguins projectwww.upstreamonline.com/live/1423873/p... Leading engineering players are in talks with yards in China as they prepare to compete for a major turnkey contract covering a floating production vessel for Shell’s Penguins project in the UK North Sea. Kc
hier zaten ook 1of 2 FPSO 's bij dacht ik ONGC setting out menu for new topsides tender Ook van Upstream Lijkt toch weer wat werk los te komen in de sector. Oeps, foute draadje zeker Ik heb nog niets gevonden over de tender die deze week verliep; zou vandaag toch tien procent omhoog gaan, of even zoveel omlaag! Kc

In 16 verwacht men überhaupt geen nieuwe FPSO orders (of max.

KBC schrijft: Feedback from conference call and lunch meeting Guidance for FY16. SBMO did not specify how turnkey vs lease & operate will contribute to $750m EBITDA guidance for FY16. We continue to believe a significant part of the FY16-17 turnkey loss of $150m will occur in FY16 as the organization and overhead are still sub-optimal and additional restructuring will be implemented in 2016. This leaves lease & operate EBITDA of around $900m in 2016 as achievable, we believe, pointing to a strong contribution from new leases. Management said guidance for a cumulative turnkey EBIT loss for FY16-17 of $150m does not include major new contract wins. Client discussions focus on optimization. CEO confirmed to be in active discussions with clients on making deep-water projects economically viable at an oil price of $45-55/barrel. A generation 4 FPSO with more standardization and subcontracting should provide a solution here. The generation 4 FPSO concept focusses on a specific hull design which can carry 30% more topside. The company may build one hull on speculation. The CEO also confirmed that they do not have conversations with clients on lowering bareboat day-rates on existing leases. Low visibility for FY16-17 awards. SBMO sees 1-4 FPSO awards (bear-bull case) for FY16 and 4-7 FPSO awards (bear-bull) in FY17. FY17 includes Sepia + Libra (Petrobras) and the Sea Lion FPSO prospect (currently a FEED). SBMO confirmed it believes to have a good technical solution and proposition to participate in the tenders for Petrobras Sepia + Libra FPSO's, although the financing component has become more challenging vs previous years. We learned that banks are requiring a higher equity component since Petrobras got downgraded, while some credit insurance agencies seem reluctant to increase Brazil exposure. Management confirmed higher (equity) financing requirements will be translated into higher day-rates. US DOJ re-opening of former compliance case concentrates on a former employee of SBMO (US citizen) appearing on the list of the Brazilian Public Prosecutor, which also included other (former) SBMO executives of which some cases got settled. SBMO said no prosecution has yet been filed. Brazil settlement provision includes 2 components. The CFO confirmed that the $245m provision for a settlement in Brazil includes a cash and commercial component, which are both covered by the provision. No further details were provided on the split and timing of the procedure/outcome. Conclusion. We believe the company's EBITDA outlook for 2016, provision for the Brazilian compliance case and reinstating dividend take away uncertainty and provide some comfort. It also shows the strength of the lease fleet, which will become fully operational during FY16 and underpins our investment case. It will provide strong visibility for the next 5-6 years. The loss in turnkey may be wider than anticipated, but can be absorbed, while there is some upside in case actual awards would materialize. The investigation by the US DOJ adds a degree of uncertainty, although we believe the scope will be significantly less than the previous cases ($240m Dutch PP + US DOJ settlement and $245m Brazil provision). We continue to see downside protection in the share price as the lease fleet underpins valuation, while there remains attractive upside when the market picks up or when some of the prospects would turn into actual awards.www.kbcsecurities.com/services/equity...

The CEO also confirmed that they do not have conversations with clients on lowering bareboat day-rates on existing leases.

Fijne dag.
