    Exact stijgt heel sterk in pré-market. Bijna 100% zeker dat dit te doen heeft met de verwachte aankondiging van USPSTF dat Colguard op dezelfde hoogte gewaardeerd wordt als een colonoscopie: dat alleen al is een 180° bocht van die USPSTF. Op relatief korte termijn heeft dit gegarandeerd een sterke impact op de verkoopsmogelijkheden van Cologuard, dus automatisch ook op de royalty-stroom naar MDXH.

While the update is not a perfect result, we see it as a major positive for the company and expect shares to rally further ... Widespread reimbursement is most important in our view, but with the USPSTF still saying EXAS could lead to extra scopes (makes no sense to us since one would assume after a positive test and negative scope another screening test would not occur for ten years), we feel the company will need to make sure docs understand it’s unlikely that EXAS will increase the number of scopes per patient"

    hello Semper Nescio…dat was me gisteren al duidelijk: zoals het al meermaals gebleken is: de grote jongens (dus de deugnieten) weten vroeger en meer dan jan-met-de-pet wat er te gebeuren staat. Zij hebben lange vingers en geraken aan de meest geheime informatie als het nodig zou zijn. De heren die vanaf 5 à 6 € hebben aangekocht hebben zo maar op een dag of twee drie 100% winst (als ze vandaag zouden verkopen)…maar die winst wordt nog groter want nu is Exact weer opgeladen om terug te gaan van waar ze naar beneden geduwd/gevallen zijn. Zo werkt het op crooks-eiland.
    Bij MDXH ga je vroeg of laat ook zien dat de koers snel naar boven schiet terwijl de kleine man nog staat na te trillen en te nagelbijten hoeveel geld hij verloren heeft toen hij zijn mooie aandelen MDXH verkocht ergens tussen 5,8 en 3 €

    Al het nieuws in aanmerking nemende en het feit dat we recent zonder duidelijke aanleiding van 3,75 naar 2,90 waren gezakt valt mij de koersbewegingen en het volume toch wat tegen. Rond 3,24 komen er ook al weer steeds behoorlijke plukjes aan de markt. Ik moet eerlijk gezegd nog zien of we niet opnieuw met een korte, tijdelijke opleving te maken hebben.

    Mooi opleving, maar zoals al veel vaker met dit aandeel, is de downswing die er aan vooraf gaat, hoger of gelijk aan de opleving, waardoor we continue pas op de plaats maken.

    Het voelt als hardlopen op een lopende band.
    Je valt onderuit, en moet extra hard lopen om weer op hetzelfde punt te komen waar je al was.
    En dat keer op keer.

    Vroeg of laat moet die lopende band roodgloeiend zijn, en defect raken waardoor we ineens veel harder vooruit kunnen lopen.

(Nasdaq: EXAS) today announced that the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) issued its final 2016 colorectal cancer screening recommendations and clarified the inclusion of Cologuard® (FIT-DNA) on equal standing among the other included screening tests.

    "We believe the final recommendations provide an important level of clarity to patients, physicians and insurers and that Cologuard should receive the benefits given to A-rated preventive services under the Affordable Care Act," said Kevin Conroy, Exact Sciences' chairman and CEO. "We thank the Task Force for carefully reviewing the body of scientific evidence supporting Cologuard and for providing this clear guidance."

    The USPSTF clarified the standing of Cologuard in its final Recommendation Statement, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association today, after reviewing additional scientific literature and public comments about its Oct. 5, 2015 draft guidelines. The final recommendations state, "Many comments expressed concern that the terms 'recommended' and 'alternative' to describe the testing strategies lacked clarity and were confusing to interpret. In response, the USPSTF removed these terms from the final recommendation to better communicate the primary message of importance: there is convincing evidence that screening for colorectal cancer provides substantial benefit for adults aged 50 to 75 years, and a sizable proportion of the eligible US population is not taking advantage of this effective preventive health strategy. With this recommendation, the USPSTF acknowledges that there is no 'one size fits all' approach to colorectal cancer screening and seeks to provide clinicians and patients with the best possible evidence about the various screening methods to enable informed, individual decision making."

    The final recommendations also recognize the use of Cologuard every three years, in keeping with the recommendation of the American Cancer Society and the coverage interval established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

    Nou hangt ie...echt.
    Om daar te geraken is een 65% stijging nodig. Ga er maar aan staan.

    MDxHealth gaat na de spurt van gisteren opnieuw 0,9 procent vooruit tot 3,27 euro. Exact Sciences, de Amerikaanse partner van MDxHealth, spurtte gisteren 30 procent hoger op Wall Street. Exact gebruikt in zijn stoelgangtest Cologuard om darmkanker op te sporen technologie van MDxHealth, waarvoor die laatste een klein percentage van de omzet krijgt.

    De US Preventive Services Task Force, die richtlijnen uitvaardigt om kanker te bestrijden, stelde in een rapport dat meerdere technieken gebruikt zouden moeten worden om darmkanker te detecteren. Waaronder dus Cologuard. Het grote voordeel van de test is dat ze gebeurt via de stoelgang, en niet via een dure kijkoperatie of biopsie. De richtlijnen verhogen de kans op een terugbetaling van Cologuard door de ziekenfondsen en verzekeraars.

    KBC Securities herhaalt naar aanleiding van het nieuws het koopadvies voor MDxHealth en koersdoel van 5,50 euro. Exact Sciences heeft wel al een procedure gestart om het contract met MDxHealth op te zeggen.

    Koers blijft alweer hangen met relatief erg laag volume. Duidelijk is dat het aandeel volledig verdwenen is van de radar van de particuliere belegger. Dat is ook goed te begrijpen. De paar beleggertjes die nu kopen zijn geen partij voor GSA. Zodra de koop wegvalt en het een paar dagen rustig is voorzie ik gewoon continuatie van het patroon zoals we het al lang kennen: veel makkelijker omlaag dan omhoog. Slechts echt breaking news of een koopadvies van een wat groter brokershuis (het liefst Angelsaksisch) kan m.i. voor een echte ommekeer zorgen.

    Ook dit keer hoop ik weer van harte dat ik het mis heb, maar ik ben bang van niet.
