Daar kwam in 1 minuut ruim 140k aandelen voorbij.

Gisteren op oilnow.gy The first module has been lifted onto the topsides of the ‘ONE GUYANA’ floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel for the massive Yellowtail development, according to ExxonMobil Guyana President, Alistair Routledge. Providing an update on the US$10 billion project, Routledge said that the hull is “fully constructed” and the vessel is out of drydock. All the modules that need to go on the topsides of the FPSO, being built by SBM Offshore, are being finalized and added on. Most of the remainder of the year will then be used for integration. Routledge said the plan is for the FPSO to set sail from Singapore to Guyana around the end of the first quarter of next year. The vessel is being designed to produce 250,000 barrels of oil per day, with an associated gas treatment capacity of 450 million cubic feet per day and water injection capacity of 300,000 barrels per day. The floater will be spread moored in water depth of about 1,800 meters and will be able to store around two million barrels of crude oil. US$10B Yellowtail Project set to unleash a tsunami of economic benefits The development plan for Yellowtail includes six drill centers and the drilling of up to 67 development wells, including 26 production and 25 injection wells. A subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines (SURF) production system comprising 51 enhanced vertical deepwater trees (EVDT) with associated tooling, as well as 12 manifolds with related controls and tie-in equipment, will also be installed for the project by TechnipFMC.
DP Energy, SBM JV Plans to Build 400 MW Floating Wind Farm Offshore Canada FLOATING WIND August 24, 2023, by Adnan Memija Nova East Wind, the recently-formed joint venture between DP Energy and SBM Offshore, has unveiled plans to build up to 400 MW floating offshore wind farm in Nova Scotia, Canada. Image courtesy of DP Energy and SBM Offshore With a total capacity of between 300 MW and 400 MW, the floating offshore wind project would be located approximately 20-30 kilometres off Goldboro, Nova Scotia. “We are delighted to announce our new floating offshore wind project with partner SBM Offshore, the first of its kind in Canada,” said Simon De Pietro, CEO of DP Energy. The joint venture said that the precise location of the wind farm will be determined following relevant regulations and further engagement with key stakeholders and right holders such as First Nations, governments, commercial fishers, local communities, environmental groups, and industry regulators. “We are very pleased to announce Nova East Wind’s project off Goldboro today, bringing our contribution to the energy transition in Canada. We intend to do so with a special attention to local workforce, supply chain and communities to kickstart Nova Scotia’s floating offshore wind sector responsibly,” said Ambroise Wattez, Director of Project Development at SBM Offshore. DP Energy and SBM Offshore formed a joint venture to pursue floating offshore wind opportunities in Nova Scotia in July. The two companies said that, together, they have experience in both the design and construction of offshore floating facilities for the energy industry. RELATED ARTICLE DP Energy, SBM Offshore Reveal Floating Wind Plan in Canada CATEGORIES: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Posted:6 months ago In September 2022, the Government of Nova Scotia announced that it would offer seabed leases for 5 GW of offshore wind energy by 2030, starting in 2025, with an ultimate aim to support green hydrogen. This year, Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources, Jonathan Wilkinson, introduced a new bill in the House of Commons that will put in place regulations that will enable offshore wind development in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador. Last month, Nova Scotia released a roadmap for the development of its offshore wind industry, which includes three modules. RELATED ARTICLE Nova Scotia Issues Offshore Wind Roadmap CATEGORIES: AUTHORITIES Posted:7 months ago The first module explains Nova Scotia’s approach to site selection, seabed licences, and support mechanisms. The second module will be released in the spring of 2024 and will focus on supply chain, infrastructure, and clean inclusive growth opportunities. The third module, to be released in the autumn of 2024, will focus on feedback from Mi’kmaq and Indigenous peoples from other communities, the fisheries industry, environmental organisations, and other stakeholders, and will also consider input gathered through the regional assessment of offshore wind development.

SBM Offshore & DP Energy JV sets eyes on developing floating offshore wind farm in Canadian waters 24, August, 2023 Nova East Wind Inc, a joint venture between Irish renewable energy developer DP Energy and Netherlands-based SBM Offshore, was established to develop a proposed floating offshore wind farm project which is to become Canada’s first offshore wind farm. The proposed floating offshore wind farm project, with a generation capacity of 300-400 MW, would be located approximately 20-30km off Goldboro, Nova Scotia. This stepping-stone project has the potential to kickstart an exciting new industry in Nova Scotia, contributing to the decarbonization of the local electricity grid, in support of the Province’s 2030 goal of generating 80% of its electricity from renewable sources. The growing project team was set-up in 2021 and has been actively engaging with stakeholders and other interested parties in Nova Scotia to understand local constraints and opportunities. The team has primarily focused on identifying and adopting environmental, regulatory, supply chain, workforce, and construction best practices as the project develops. The precise location of the wind farm will be determined following relevant regulations and further engagement with key stakeholders and right holders such as First Nations, governments, commercial fishers, local communities, environmental groups, and industry regulators. Simon De Pietro, CEO of DP Energy, said: “We are delighted to announce our new floating offshore wind project with partner SBM Offshore, the first of its kind in Canada. Nova East Wind’s project off Goldboro is an important step in Nova Scotia’s renewable energy journey which we are incredibly excited to be a part of. Our local team has been actively engaging with communities and stakeholders in Nova Scotia since 2021 and these groups will continue to be at the core of this project going forward.” Ambroise Wattez, Director of Project Development at SBM Offshore, said: “SBM Offshore has been active in Nova Scotia for many years, and we are delighted to write a new chapter of the offshore industry here, with our partner DP Energy. We are very pleased to announce Nova East Wind’s project off Goldboro today, bringing our contribution to the energy transition in Canada. We intend to do so with a special attention to local workforce, supply chain and communities to kickstart Nova Scotia’s floating offshore wind sector responsibly.” DP Energy and SBM Offshore have significant experience working in Nova Scotia to help advance the region’s offshore energy ambitions. This includes acquiring in-depth understanding of local regulatory practices and building a successful track record of local partnerships and business associations. 400.000 huishoudens groene stroom 16 maal zo groot als het Franse project.
By Julianne Geiger - Feb 06, 2024, 2:30 PM CST The global oil market will require $14 trillion in investments over the next 20 years if oil-producing nations hope to be able to fulfill global energy demands through 2045, OPEC's Secretary General Haitham al-Ghais said on Tuesday. According to the Secretary-General who spoke at India Energy Week in Goa, oil demand "will continue to rise and there is a need to ensure that supply is maintained." Al-Gais added that globally, energy demand would rise between now and 2045 by 23 percent. India's oil demand is expected to double by 2045 to 38 million bpd from its current 19 million bpd, India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi said early at the event. "India's oil demand is expected to increase to 38 million barrels per day by 2045 from the current 19 million barrels. India is consistently growing its energy capacity. We aim to increase the share of natural gas to 15% of primary energy missfrom 6 % now. By 2030, the refining capacity will be at 450 mtpa in India," Modi said. Al-Ghais was also vocal about oil's place among the energy sources even as far out as 2045, saying that even as many nations around the world look to triple their renewable energy capacity, no single renewable source will be able to carry the weight of the global energy demand growth. "We need to invest (in oil) to be able to ensure the security and reliability of the supply is maintained," Ghais said. Energy ministers from oil-booming Guyana and natural gas-abundant Qatar have said that while there is a need to bring renewable energies into the oil and gas sector, phasing out conventional energy sources such as fossil fuels is still a long way away.
