J.P. Daarmee is J.P.
Kwaliteit komt altijd weer bovendrijven.

Quantum Leap: Aperam Infinite™ Redefines Sustainable Steel By Strategic Research Institute on Oct 19, 2023 10:46 am Synopsis Aperam, a global leader in stainless, electrical, and specialty steel, has launched Aperam Infinite™, its sustainability brand. This initiative aims to reduce carbon emissions by up to 85%, offering a circular approach for customers. Stainless steel's enduring properties make it a sustainable choice. Aperam's CEO, Tim Di Maulo, emphasized their commitment to sustainable, high-quality stainless steel, contributing to a greener world. Article: Aperam, a key player in stainless, electrical, and specialty steel production worldwide, is taking a significant step towards a greener future with the launch of its sustainability brand, Aperam Infinite™. This innovative brand is poised to revolutionize the industry by achieving a remarkable reduction of up to 85% in carbon emissions compared to the industry average. Aperam's commitment to sustainability and its goal of contributing to global carbon neutrality by 2050 are at the heart of this initiative. One pivotal move in Aperam's journey towards sustainability was its integration of ELG, a leading recycling company, in 2021. This integration has transformed Aperam into a fully integrated stainless steel producer with the capability to recycle large volumes of high-quality scrap materials without compromising quality. Stainless steel, often referred to as the perfect sustainable material, aligns seamlessly with the principles of the circular economy. It ticks all the boxes, offering durability, recyclability, and sustainability. Its corrosion-resistant, long-lasting properties, coupled with infinite recyclability, make it a standout choice for sustainable development. Aperam has aptly named its near-zero footprint product range "infinite" because stainless steel is infinitely recyclable, infinitely adaptable, and, in their belief, infinitely good. "We have transformed Aperam to provide sustainable, high-quality stainless steel and specialty alloys at the scale the world needs. Welcome to an infinite world, full of opportunities and possibilities," says Tim Di Maulo, CEO of Aperam. Aperam Infinite™ has been designed with customers and end-users in mind. It offers a multitude of benefits, including an accelerated path to help customers achieve their CO2 reduction goals, particularly in scope 3 emissions, thus enhancing their sustainability credentials. Moreover, it provides an opportunity for customers to incorporate more recycled materials into their products through Aperam's closed-loop process. This allows them to offer consumers products with a low environmental impact and a high proportion of recyclable material. By partnering with Aperam, customers can maximize the value of their scrap materials by selling high-purity, well-sorted material to the company's recycling and renewables division, embracing a complete circular model. Additional benefits include brand protection, differentiation from competitors, and support in helping customers comply with regulatory requirements. Aperam Infinite™ effectively closes the loop between a transformed Aperam, ready to deliver industry solutions, and customers who are committed to making sustainability and the circular economy a reality. This initiative leverages Aperam's expertise, innovation, and best practices. It benefits from the company's advanced knowledge in scrap utilization and its ongoing research into the most sustainable energy sources. Aperam Recycling, for instance, achieves an annual collection rate of 1.3 million metric tons of recycled raw materials. The company also employs renewable energy resources, such as hydroelectricity, photovoltaics, and wind power. Moreover, it uses charcoal biomass sourced from its FSC®-certified BioEnergia forests in Brazil and invests in pioneering research activities like Botanickel, a bio-mining process that extracts nickel from industrial soils. Aperam, with customers in over 40 countries, is committed to producing near-zero carbon footprint stainless and specialty steels. The company is pioneering the way for customers worldwide to join the circular economy. Notably, it is the first player in its market to be ResponsibleSteel™-certified in Europe and the Americas, receiving widespread recognition for its sustainability efforts. Conclusion: Aperam's launch of Aperam Infinite™ is a giant leap towards sustainable steel production. This initiative reflects the company's commitment to environmental responsibility and its aim to significantly reduce carbon emissions. With its closed-loop approach, emphasis on recycling, and the enduring sustainability of stainless steel, Aperam is leading the charge in creating a more eco-friendly and circular industry. By embracing Aperam Infinite™, customers can not only reduce their carbon footprint but also enjoy the benefits of high-quality, eco-friendly steel products. This marks a pivotal moment in the journey towards a more sustainable and circular future for the steel industry. Bron Steelguru (via email)
oh nice. klinkt goed.

Kolmiekreezie: Plukkie erbij ;-) Succes
Steun op 25 euro houdt vooralsnog. Goed om te zien.
