    Klopt helemaal :

    Verdomd je hebt gelijk lees het verkeerd. Gelukkig geef ik me fouten ook snel toe.

    Al maandenlang schommelt het jaarrendement (koersstijging + dividend) Shell tussen 25 en 35 %. Dat is ook de belofte van Ingenieur Bernardus Cornelis Adriana Margriet - (Ben) van Beurden.

    Maersk Drilling Bags Extension for Drillship from Shell

    Shell has exercised an option to extend the provisioning of the 7th generation drillship Maersk Voyager for drilling services offshore Mexico. The contract extension is expected to commence in April 2023, in direct continuation of the rig’s current contract, with a firm duration of six months. The contract value of the extension is approximately USD 77 million, excluding integrated services expected to be provided and potential performance bonuses. The parties have further amended the options included in the contract, so that it now contains options to add up to 18 months of additional drilling work.

    Maersk Drilling and Shell have further agreed to also implement the RigFlow solution, delivered by Maersk Drilling subsidiary Horizon56, for the drilling campaign offshore Mexico. RigFlow supports a strong operational performance by standardising and digitalising the core workflows involved in well construction, including real-time exchange of information between onshore planning units, the offshore drilling teams, and the service companies supporting the operations.

    Maersk Voyager is a high-spec ultra-deepwater drillship which was delivered in 2014. It is currently mobilising for a drilling campaign offshore Suriname with Shell.

    Shell Chief Executive Officer Ben van Beurden to step down, Wael Sawan appointed as his successor

    Shell plc (“Shell”) today announced that Ben van Beurden will step down as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the end of 2022, and that his successor will be Wael Sawan. Wael’s appointment is effective January 1, 2023*, when he will also join Shell’s Board of Directors. Ben van Beurden will continue working as adviser to the Board until June 30, 2023, after which he will leave the group.

    Shell’s Chair, Sir Andrew Mackenzie said: “Wael Sawan is an exceptional leader, with all the qualities needed to drive Shell safely and profitably through its next phase of transition and growth. His track record of commercial, operational and transformational success reflects not only his broad, deep experience and understanding of Shell and the energy sector, but also his strategic clarity. He combines these qualities with a passion for people, which enables him to get the best from those around him. The outcome of the Board’s managed succession process resulted both in the appointment of an outstanding CEO and proved the strength and depth of Shell’s leadership talent. I look forward to working with Wael as we accelerate the delivery of our strategy.”

    Wael Sawan said: “It’s been a privilege to work alongside Ben and I’m honoured to take over the leadership of this great company from him. I’m looking forward to channelling the pioneering spirit and passion of our incredible people to rise to the immense challenges, and grasp the opportunities presented by the energy transition.     Sawan opvolger CEO Ben van Beurden bij Shell
    Per 1 januari.

    (ABM FN-Dow Jones) Wael Sawan is de opvolger van Ben van Beurden als CEO van Shell. Dit maakte de energiereus donderdag bekend.

    Dat Van Beurden zou vertrekken, werd begin deze maand al in de media gemeld.

    Sawan volgt Van Beurden op per 1 januari 2023. Die laatste blijft nog wel tot 30 juni aan als adviseur.

    Sawan is nu topman van de divisie Integrated gas, Renewables en Energy Solutions bij Shell. In de media werd hij al getipt als grootste kanshebber. Ook Huibert Vigeveno, topman van de raffinageactiviteiten en Downstream, CFO Sinead Gorman en Zoe Yujnovich, die de divisie Upstream leidt, werden in de media genoemd als potentiële opvolgers van Van Beurden.
