    Nieuwe schuldherschikking dichtbij: kredietverleners proberen stock op 0,80 te krijgen. Believers kopen bij. Hopeloos !!! De schuldeisers/kredietverleners zijn bij vorige ronde helft in stocks betaald: hebben zoveel stukken dat ze de koers zo makkelijk naar beneden kunnen shorten. Otiontoestanden: tegen eind 2018 zal € 0,10 een succes zijn...

    Normaal zouden we nu toch positieve reactie moeten zien

    THE 2017/2018 SEASON GETS UNDERWAY
    Excellent first week’s harvest
    Paris & Brussels, December 11, 2017 (5.45 pm) – KKO INTERNATIONAL (BE0974284169 – ALKKO.BR – PEA-PME), a world leader in the innovative production of cocoa, has announced the beginning of its 2017/2018 season with an excellent first week of harvesting. Arriving late, the rain season only finished at the end of October, which postponed the ripening of the cocoa pods. This had the knock-on effect of delaying the start of the 2017 harvest, which began at the end of November. This was in contrast to last year, when harvesting was able to begin in October. However, in view of the new protocols put in place by the Group, coupled with very good rainfall levels in recent weeks, the results of the first week of harvesting are most encouraging for the 2017/2018 season. The results generated in recent months are showing a low plant mortality rate, below 5%, much lower than the national level currently being experienced in Ivory Coast. Productivity has risen sharply, too, thereby supporting our longer-term production target of achieving 3 to 4 kg of dried cocoa beans per mature productive tree. The trees in production are yielding 20 to 120 cocoa pods each, depending on their maturity. As a reminder, 20 to 25 pods are required to produce 1 kg of cocoa beans. The pods harvested contain an average of 45 beans, with a granulometry of between 85 and 105, depending on maturity (the standard required by the grinders must be under 107). In view of these results, the aim now is to homogenise our planting so that we get at least 80% productive trees. As a further reminder, the field’s edge price was set at 700 FCFA for the 2017/2018 season by the Coffee-Cocoa Council. “We are very pleased with the early results of the 2017/2018 harvest,” said Rémy Allemane, Chief Executive Officer of the SOLEA subsidiary in Ivory Coast. “We are demonstrating that it is possible to grow cocoa intensively while respecting both the environment and the local communities by being innovative. Indeed, our Research and Development has enabled us to cultivate plant material of high quality, developped directly in our own stockyard. This will enable us to intensify our cropping land while guaranteeing high-quality beans. Our operations are also a major tool in the fight against deforestation in Ivory Coast.”

    Markt precies niet onder de indruk.

    De cacao prijs bedraagt momenteel 1.61 euro/kg. (wat zeer laag is)
    Ze mikken per jaar op een opbrengst van 3 à 4 kg per boom = 5 à 6 euro per boom aan huidige lage koersen
    Op 30 juni hadden ze al 844.000 bomen en voor eind dit jaar zou dat ruim 1 miljoen moeten zijn.
    In het slechtste geval spreken we dan van 4 miljoen, in het betere geval (hogere cacao prijzen, opbrengst van 4 kg,...) kan dit stijgen tot 7 miljoen en meer en dan spreken we enkel over de cacao.

    Er zit ook nog zeer grote waarde en potentieel in hun Teak bomen.
    On some places unfit for growing cocoa, we have planted teak trees for several reasons. Teak is a natural firewall and, in our regions, fire risk is high during the dry season. It is also a good protection against wind, but more importantly, a natural repellent against mealybugs which sometimes carry the virus provoking the “swollen shoot” disease. Further, it is financially attractive: a 10 to 15 years old teak tree represents more than a cubic meter of wood. In Ivory Coast, a cubic meter of teak ex-field is valued at €300. On the world market, it can reach as much as €2,000. We have already planted 60,000 teak trees during this semester and our objective in the coming years is to exceed 500,000 such trees.

    Huidige 60.000 aan goedkoopste 300 = 18 miljoen euro.
    Moesten ze er effectief meer dan 500.000 plaatsen en we dromen van de topprijzen van 2000 dan zitten we boven het miljard.

    Rauf, ze hebben de handel omstreeks 14h stilgelegd voor één daling maar het was maar miniem...
    Probleem bij KKO dat je tegen één marktspeler opbotst die de liquiditeit in KKO moet verzorgen...
    Heb dat al ééns meegemaakt met Viohalco maar als je tijd én geduld hebt win je er toch tegen als je
    tegen de zo laagst mogelijke koers kunt aankopen...
