    White nationalists are boasting they’re on their way to Minneapolis to incite more violence: MSNBC’s Joy Reid

    On Saturday’s edition of MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” host Joy Reid broke down how white nationalists have openly plotted to cause chaos at Minnesota protests for George Floyd.

    “We saw uprisings over the Michael Brown killing, we saw it in Baltimore, saw it in New York over Eric Garner,” said Reid. “What I’m hearing now is that this is something different.”

    “I have a few thoughts,” said Alicia Garcia, principal of the Black Futures Lab and one of the original Black Lives Matter activist leaders. “Number one, I think it’s important for us to hear what is being said here, especially in relationship to white supremacist forces who certainly have a stake in making sure that the kind of cover of this moment, right, helps to advance an agenda. We’re not unclear that Mnnesota, in addition to having some serious issues with law enforcement, also has serious concerns and issues with militias and white nationalist forces.”

    “One of the things said by this whole failing of state officials is that white nationalist groups are posting online that they are going to go to Minneapolis and, quote, ‘get their loot on,'” said Reid. “That they are openly threatening to do this.”

    “We had on the attorney general of the state, Keith Ellison, who talked about one particular incident that I know lots of people have seen on social media,” said Reid. “I just want to show this video if we can. This is a video referred to by Keith Ellison, the attorney general, and it is of a man with an umbrella, though it is not raining, wearing a gas mask, breaking windows at a hardware store. He’s followed by protesters who yell at him and continue to film him.”

    “This is what Keith Ellison referred to as he talked about people from outside the community coming in,” said Reid. The St. Paul mayor said that all of the people arrested last night were from out of state. The governor, Tim Walz, said that overall, of all the people arrested, it’s 80 percent people outside the community.”

    NFL owners chose the knee on the neck. They did. They may rationalize it as controversy avoidance, or respect for the flag, or audience mollification, or economic strategy, or business exigency. But when they collectively ostracized Colin Kaepernick for his protests against police brutality on unarmed black citizens, they chose the wrong knee. They chose the knee on the neck, the knee that pressures, stifles, gags, chokes and silences.

    Dit is opruiing van het volk en dat door een President die de eed heeft afgelegd het gehele volk te vertegenwoordigen.

    Die paniek was volgens mij niet gefingeerd. Ze was echt bang, alleen volstrekt onterecht... Het racisme zit diep ingebakken. Jij denkt dat ze op haar "white privilege" vertrouwt?

    Ja, dat kan in Nederland ook gebeuren, maar gelukkig is die kans hier veel kleiner want de politie is minder schietgraag en er zijn minder wapens in omloop.

    Dat is het punt. Ik denk dat een groot deel van de gekleurde bevolking in de VS ervan uitgaat dat het gebeurt, niet dat er een kleine kans is.

    Er is ook een grote kans dat die zwarte Amerikaan z'n hond al heeft aangelijnd of dat alsnog doet als hij daar om verzocht wordt.

    De secret service meldde eerder dat de demonstratie voor het WH met behulp van de DC politie is aangepakt. Vogens trump had de burgemeester gezegd dat dat niet haar probleem was.....

    Wat gebeurt er in Nederland als u mensen verzoekt om hun hond aan te lijnen omdat loslopen plaatselijk verboden is? Ze bellen niet meteen de politie maar schelden je wel verrot en vragen je waar je je mee bemoeit. De mentaliteit in Nederland is de laatste 20 jaar ook veranderd en niet ten goede. Pitbulls en mastiffs galore.

    In vervolg op dat Chinese commentaar hierboven: ( www.iex.nl/Forum/Post/12455245.aspx ) Minister van Justitie Barr beweert nu dat de rellen door mensen van buiten Minnesota ("anarchists and radical left") werden aangestuurd. In wezen hetzelfde wat men in China ook steeds zegt: buitenlandse inmenging.
    Ik betwijfel het.

    En Minneapolis ligt niet ver van de grens met Wisconsin. En ook Iowa ligt op slechts 200 km.
    Barr heeft ook gezegd dat het gebruik van "interstate facilities" verboden is voor mensen die naar een andere staat gaan met de intentie om te gaan relschoppen. De interstate highways vallen ook onder "interstate facilities"

    Je zag haar op iemand aflopen, eisen dat diegene stopt met filmen en hem vervolgens mededelen dat ze de politie gaat bellen om te vertellen dat hij haar leven aan het bedreigen is.

    Lijken niet de handelingen van iemand die angstig is.

    Ze was misschien voordat het filmpje begon bang en geschrokken.
