'waaronder van vakbond UAW. Die liet weten de gezondheid en veiligheid van zijn leden, hun families en het Amerikaanse volk als hoogste prioriteit te hebben'

Gelukkig hebben de vakbonden het voor zichzelf allemaal uitstekend geregeld, deze werknemers hebben geen werk dus amper geld voor eten, huisvesting en zorg, maar gelukkig redt de vakbond ze uit het broeinest van corona.

De vakbonden daar zijn even verziekt als in NL waar gelijk gedreigd werd met een lock-down op de bouw terwijl iedereen moet wennen aan deze bizarre situatie. Bouwvakkers zijn meer geholpen met tips dan met geblaas van lieden die in een geel hesje met strepen zijn geboren.

Ford's stock falls after revenue warning

Shares of Ford Motors Co. F, -3.95% dropped 3.6% in morning trading Monday, after the automaker warned of a first-quarter revenue miss, citing the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The automaker said it is considering additional financing actions to boost cash as the pandemic has stalled global commerce. Ford expects to report revenue of $34 billion, which is below the FactSet consensus of $37.2 billion. The company said only its joint ventures in China are producing wholesale vehicles, and is considering a phased restart of its manufacturing plants and supply network beginning in the second quarter. As a result of lower production and demand, Ford said vehicle wholesales were down 21% from a year ago. Separately, Ford said it had $30 billion in cash on its balance sheet as of April 9, giving it enough cash to get through "at least the end of the third quarter" with no vehicle production and wholesales or financing actions. ""We continue to opportunistically assess all funding options to further strengthen our balance sheet and increase liquidity to optimize our financial flexibility," said Chief Financial Officer Tim Stone. "We also are identifying additional operating actions to enhance our cash position." The stock has tumbled 44% over the past three months, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, -1.39% has declined 19%.
